(1998)  17 min.  Washington has a proud labor history -timber workers, aircraft machinists, longshoremen, and public employees.  One in four workers belongs to a union.  But when 18 union musicians took on Seattle's giant 5th Avenue Theatre, they inspired a wave of solidarity unseen in years.

Michelle winery.  Produced in cooperation with the  Church Council of Greater Seattle, and broadcast on WASHINGTON WORKS (KTPS/Tacoma) and REAL TO REEL (KOMO/Seattle).

(1998)  11 min.  In 1998 MOVING IMAGES documented a

labor teach-in at the University of Washington, and Seattle's

annual Folklife Festival, which that year celebrated the heritage

of the American labor movement in Arts and Music.
